Every fall everyone from the MDP including all the new students go on the

"Annual Dialectical Bus Tour"

This years hosts were:

Norman Klein, cultural historian, author

Tim Durfee, architect and exhibition designer

Peter Lunenfeld, media theorist

PROGRAM

Friday, September 5

1:15 pm Warner Brothers studio tour

4:30 pm Americana at Brand, Glendale Ended with a charette assignment (create a media city) and individual group dinners
Saturday, September 6
10:00 am Short charette meeting in MDP studio 6:00 pm First charette critique in MDP studio and alcove

Sunday, September 7 (chartered bus)

9:15 pm Bus departs on tour to: Chinatown, Downtown, Silverlake, Los Feliz

2:00 pm Bus returns to parking lot of Hillside campus

2:00-6:00 Charette, part two in MDP studio and alcove

6:00 Pizza + charette final critique
